The Indiana Fever’s 2026 WNBA playoff run came to an end Thursday night after a 94–83 Game 3 loss to the Las Vegas Aces, but one controversial foul involving Lexie Hull and Brianna Turner quickly became a major talking point after the game.
The incident occurred early in the second quarter as Hull and Turner battled for position underneath the basket.
Turner wrapped her arm around Hull during the physical exchange, and Hull was eventually pulled to the floor. Officials assessed the foul to Hull, a decision that immediately drew protests from the Fever bench.
Fever head coach Stephanie White strongly objected to the call and attempted to get the play reviewed.
According to reporting from the Indianapolis Star, White tried to call a timeout to initiate a challenge, but the request was not recognized before play resumed.
White was subsequently assessed a technical foul while arguing with the officials.
