Patriots Defense Takes Major Hit as Christian Gonzalez and Christian Barmore Sit Out Against Buffalo

The New England Patriots are facing a difficult defensive challenge against the Buffalo Bills after two key defenders, Christian Gonzalez and Christian Barmore, were ruled out.

The absences represent a significant setback for a Patriots defense preparing to face one of the NFL’s most dangerous offenses. Buffalo enters the matchup with plenty of firepower, including running back James Cook, who has emerged as a major threat on the ground.

Gonzalez’s absence could be particularly important in the secondary. The talented cornerback has been relied upon to help contain opposing receivers, and New England will now have to adjust its coverage plans against Buffalo’s passing attack.
