Taylor Swift ignited a frenzy among her Swifties by making her relationship with Travis Kelce Instagram official on Saturday. After playing her second sold out show at Wembley stadium in London, the pop icon, 34, posted an epic selfie with the NFL star, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte taken backstage.

Although the superstar couple has been romantically linked since 2023, this Instagram post marks the very first appearance of Travis, also 34, on Taylor’s social media. ‘Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start @princeandprincessofwales,’ the Cardigan singer captioned the incredible snap, referring to the future King of England’s 42nd birthday.

The reactions from Taylor’s fans lit up social media, many in awe that their queen’s first official Instagram post with Travis was made even more ‘iconic’ by including the royal family. ‘Are you telling me the first time Travis is posted on Taylor’s social media, it’s with Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte? THIS IS ICONIC,’ wrote one follower.

Another referred to a separate selfie Prince William shared of his two kids and Taylor backstage, writing: ‘the gag of it all is the fact that taylor also took a picture with prince william and his kids alone, but chose to upload the picture to her social media that includes travis. ‘she’s loud and proud, and not hiding it. :’) if you told me this one year ago, i would call you crazy.’

The eagle-eyed Swifties also noticed that Travis started ‘liking’ several of Taylor’s recent posts soon after they made their relationship Instagram official. ‘the way travis just went on a liking spree on taylor’s instagram and liked 5 of her posts in a row… this man lives on the floor,’ posted one amused fan.

Yet another chimed in: ‘The way it’s like he was waiting for her to make it “ok” by posting him is making me feel things. What a time to be alive.’ One Swiftie even posted screenshots of the posts Travis was ‘liking’ with the caption: ‘Travis is currently liking every single post by Taylor I am crying.’ Dating rumors about the superstar couple began circulating in September 2023 when Taylor was seen at multiple Travis NFL games.
