Taylor Swift’s fans are unforgiving over friendship with Brittany Mahomes: It’s the worst thing she’s done in her career

There are many different offshoots from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance, and one of them is her new friendship with Brittany Mahomes. Brittany is the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and, naturally, she is at almost every home game that the Chiefs play.

With Swift now going out with Chiefs tight end Kelce, the two women have ended up spending a lot of time together and the friendship has been blossoming beyond just the stands. On November 4, for example, Swift was photographed on a girls’ night out in New York City with her new friend, as well as Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne.

This has led to backlash against Swift for quite a serious reason. In the past, Brittany has publicly defended Jackson Mahomes, the brother of Patrick, who was accused of assaulting staff at a bar. He was accused of pushing a waiter before allegedly forcibly trying to kiss the owner of the bar. The case is still ongoing.

“They are ignorant, he is a human just trying to live his life and find his way and until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s**t about him,” Brittany Mahomes said when asked about Jackson on an Instagram Q&A was: For this reason, some fans feel that Swift is failing to be an ally with those who are victims of assault.
