Taylor Swift Is Embracing a Softer Spring Palette Ahead of the Tortured Poets Department Release

Taylor Swift stepped out in a look that’s basically the opposite of Reputation for a lunch date with Travis Kelce.

Where in the world are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce? Over the weekend the answer to this perennial question was Malibu, California. After returning from a well-deserved vacation to the Bahamas, the couple was spotted on a lunch date at celebrity-favorite sushi restaurant Nobu looking every bit relaxed, sun-kissed, and in love. Swift, in a pale blue crewneck sweater, pleated khaki miniskirt, and two-toned loafers, was giving major spring outfit inspo—a bit of a 180 from all of the Reputation-coded looks she’d been spotted in last fall, which we’d later learn were a red herring.

Kelce, a bit of a clotheshorse himself, gave his casual silhouette a luxe update with what looks to be cashmere knit joggers, a long-sleeve beige T-shirt, and a white baseball cap. The pair are enjoying a bit of time to themselves ahead of Swift’s European leg of the Eras Tour, which kicks off again in May. Kelce, who is enjoying the off-season after his Super Bowl win last month, is expected to join his girlfriend on tour (again) as well.

Of course, we’ll likely be seeing a lot more of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce next month, when the singer drops her 13th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19. These two certainly aren’t shy when it comes to PDA, so maybe we can expect to see them making their red-carpet debut around the time of the album release? Or even better, Kelce could make good on all those engagement rumors he’s been stirring up. Swifties deserve it.
