Shocking threats against President Joe Biden and NFL Star Travis Kelce lead to bizarre arrest at fundraiser
A man was arrested by authorities after threatening the president and the Chiefs player. In a startling turn of events, NFL star Travis Kelce found himself caught up in a death threat scandal that had nothing to do with his actions. The incident took place on June 16th outside a recent fundraiser for ahead of the 2024 elections.
A viral video on social media captured a topless man standing in Downtown Los Angeles with a guitar bag, claiming he had a gun inside. The unidentified man went on a 20-minute rant, during which he threatened to assassinate President Joe Biden. Unexpectedly, the man also turned his attention to Travis Kelce.
“I want to kill Travis Kelce,” the man declared. “I got a gun in here. I got a gun right here to kill Joe Biden. Where’s the Secret Service?” The footage concluded with law enforcement officers swiftly apprehending the man and placing him in handcuffs. This incident occurred just weeks after Kelce’s humorous interaction with President Biden at the White House, following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII victory. Kelce’s” My fellow Americans” speech amused many, and he recently discussed it on the “New Heights” podcast.
During the podcast, Travis Kelce humorously recounted his close encounter with President Biden and the Secret Service. Kelce revealed that he feared he would be tazed by the Secret Service for getting too close to the President. “I had no idea President Biden was gonna ask me to come up and let me have my moment,” said Kelce. While the star tight end shares a friendly rapport with the President, he has not publicly discussed his political beliefs. However, his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, has been more vocal.
Taylor Swift, who endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ahead of the 2020 Presidential election, has yet to express her support for any candidate for the 2024 elections. Former President Donald Trump has also weighed in on Swift’s political stance. Despite complimenting her as “unusually beautiful,”Trump questioned her liberal views.
“She is liberal, or is this just an act? She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal,”Trump said in an interview. Swift, currently on her ‘Eras Tour,’ has not responded to his comments. Given the recent death threat, it remains to be seen if Travis Kelce will take legal measures or increase his security. As the NFL star gears up for the training camp ahead of the preseason games starting in August, the bizarre incident has undoubtedly added an unexpected twist to his off-season.
