Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds added a humorous twist to a question about the Chiefs by playfully bantering about Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s celebrity status.
During the conversation with PEOPLE, the world premiere of Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine in New York City on Monday, July 22, the stars expressed the fame of the Lover crooner and the Gossip Girl star On the red carpet, Jackman, 55, jokes with PEOPLE, “If you ever really want to kind of not feel great about your career, go to [an NFL] game with Taylor Swift and Blake Lively — and then you’re Blake Lively, Taylor Swift, and others at the game.”
Reynolds interrupted in a conversation, “We’re just and others.” On asking about attending, Travis Kelce’s games, Jackman responded, “Oh, I hope so,” while Reynolds added “You don’t say no to that.” The Fortnight singer and her longtime bestie, the It Ends With Us star alongside her husband the IF star attended the Kansas City Chiefs game on October 1, 2023, cheering for the team and Travis Kelce, who is Swift’s boyfriend.

The acting duo, Swift and Lively, who is married to Reynolds, famously attended the Kansas City Chiefs game on Oct. 1, 2023, to cheer on the team and Swift’s tight end boyfriend, Travis Kelce, 34. Asked whether they’ll attend another game, Jackman replied, “Oh, I hope so,” while Reynolds said, “You don’t say no to that.”
