Prince William bars Harry from meeting Kate Middleton, kids with stern warning; Prince Harry receives major blow from Prince William after King Charles’ snub
Prince Harry has reportedly received a major blow from his elder brother Prince William as the future King spoiled Harry’s alleged plan to meet Princess Kate and children.
The Prince of Wales has warned the Duke of Sussex to stay away from Kate and their three children, allegedly telling Harry: “You’re Not Welcome.” Harry, who’s attending the 10th anniversary of the Invictus in the UK, has suffered another blow in the UK after King Charles’s decision to not meet him. The heir to the throne has not allowed Harry to see his wife Kate and their three kids as he believes a visit from the Duke could add to the future King’s worries.
A royal insider, according to the Mirror, told entertainment news outlet: “They have so much to focus on, her treatment, the children, even the King’s health, so he’s not letting Kate expend any more energy on Harry.” The source went on: “He [William] will never forgive Harry for everything he has said about Kate, especially in his memoir, when she simply adored him. “William can’t handle seeing her in any further pain.”
there were speculations and rumors that Harry might visit cancer-stricken Princess Kate while in London. However, William, who has been under tremendous strain for the past few months, stopped Harry’s bid to meet the Waleses. Estranged British royal Prince Harry has been “hit hard” by the cancer diagnosis of Catherine, the Princess of Wales, a royal author said. The Princess of Wales, often known by her maiden name Kate Middleton, announced in March that she has an undisclosed form of the disease.
“They (Harry and Kate) were once extremely close, and Harry was hit hard by the news of her cancer diagnosis, which he learned about just the way the rest of us did, via Kate’s shocking video,” Christopher Andersen, author of “The King,” told Fox News on Wednesday. Andersen said that there was just “too much drama” between the brothers and their wives and that there was “lingering bitterness” on everyone’s part. “So, the chances of even a meeting between Harry and the rest of the royal family, much less some sort of reconciliation, seem extremely slim,” he added.
Harry and his American wife Meghan Markle, who were formally known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are no longer working royals. They moved to California in 2020 and are now forging their own businesses after being cut off from the royal purse. Harry, who married former actress Meghan in 2018, was at one time very close to William. However, their relations have soured in recent years and the brothers have reportedly not spoken in months after Harry’s public criticism of his family.
Harry has repeatedly aired complaints about the way he feels he and his wife were mistreated during their time as working royals. The couple have made infrequent visits to the UK since relocating to the US, including for the funeral of Harry’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth II in September. Prince Harry is currently in the UK for events marking the anniversary of his Invictus Games. He was last in the UK in February to visit his father King Charles III, who is also undergoing cancer treatment. It was expected that he would meet his 75-year-old father during his latest trip. But a spokesperson for the prince said there will be no meeting.
