Pat McAfee weighed in on the slander towards Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship, admitting that he is ‘sick’ of fans shading the two stars for their romance.
Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC title win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Swift and Kelce became the center of attention as they shared a moment next to teammates and family members.
The following morning, McAfee went on his program to express how his perception towards the power couple changed over time.
‘I’m sick of people being mad about it,’ he exclaimed.
‘The most successful woman on earth right now [is] dating the greatest tight end of all time who’s on the current dynasty, why is everybody so mad about it?’
McAfee admitted that, like many, he questioned how genuine the relationship is in the beginning. However, he argued that Sunday’s interaction should put an end to any and all doubts about the romance.
‘At the beginning I could see [why],’ McAfee admitted. ‘She’s releasing a movie, he’s on 14 commercials, are we getting worked right now? The NFL shoving it down our throats? I’m sick of seeing it. Every commercial, him. Every game, her.
