World heavyweight champion Fury has been pictured enjoying the comfort of a £100million private jet while recovering from the grisly injury that stymied his undisputed title clash with Oleksandr Usyk. The British boxer, 35, luxuriated in an Airbus ACJ319 with a cinema, double bedroom, dining room and dedicated ‘entourage area’ when flying home from Saudi Arabia
Fury later posted a photo of his return to the ‘rain, wind, cold’ of Lancashire home town Morecambe – but he is evidently enjoys travelling in such style, a taste shared by plenty of fellow celebrities flaunting photos of their miles-aloft luxury living. Yet there have been complaints from residents in Los Angeles about being ‘blanketed’ with fumes by private planes landing at Van Nuys Airport in California – and calls for curfews.

British marketing agency Yard compiled a list of the worst celebrity polluters – including half-sisters Kylie and Kim, singer Taylor Swift and actor Tom Cruise. MailOnline takes a look at some of the most high-profile high fliers… Singer Taylor Swift has just sold the smaller of her two private jets amid criticism of a planned 19,200-mile trip in ten days as part of her record-breaking Eras world tour.
She has also been supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce as he heads to the Superbowl this weekend. Swift let go of her 12-seater private jet, a £35million Dassault Falcon 900, but retained another which can fit 16. She is said to often lend a plane to celebrity friends. The jet she has just sold had her lucky number 13 on the front and the registration N898TS – signifying her initials as well as her birth year 1989.
Swift, 34, has been under pressure to cut down on her carbon emissions after jet-setting across the world to spend time with Kansas City Chief’s tight end Kelce, also 34. She had reportedly bought that jet for $40million in 2011 but still owns her Dassault Falcon 7X which if bought new would cost $54million. Kim Kardashian, 43, splashed out on a £150million private jet she dubbed ‘Kim Air’. She told on her TV show The Kardashians how every seat had a phone charger and all the upholstery was cashmere.
The plane is a Gulfstream G65OER, with a base price of $95million, although it is believed she had the aircraft built from scratch to her bespoke specifications – taking manufacturers a whole year to finish the job. And she is said to issue any passengers with the strict instructions: ‘Don’t breathe, don’t touch a thing.’ Guests invited aboard the plane are given a pair of SKIMS slippers and pyjamas for their trip, while the Créme color used in the 18-seater jet is the same one used in Kim’s own home.
She designed the interior with help from Tommy Clements and Waldo Fernandez. Kim’s half-sister Kylie Jenner, 26, bought a $72.8million pink private Global Express jet for herself – all adorned in pink, with an entertainment room and master suite. She faced an online backlash in 2022 for sharing a picture of the two jets she and boyfriend Travis Scott had, captioning it: ‘You wanna take mine or yours?’
Kylie has also been slammed for a 12-minute flight on her private jet for a 26-mile journey that would have taken just 39 minutes by car.
Kim Kardashian’s rapper ex-husband Kanye West, 46, treated himself to a double- decker Boeing 747 with the capacity for 660 passengers. The jet provides boarders with a luxury double-bed suite marble bathroom, different living areas as well as guest rooms. The aircraft – which also includes an expansive dining area – is said by former wife Kim to have been gifted him by Team Adidas for their Yeezy brand team-up.
There is also a snack bar on-board – though Kanye and Kim were once seen packing supplies from McDonald’s as they prepared to take off.
Rapper Drake, 35, invested in a huge Boeing 767 cargo plane showing off his OVO owl symbol – with the initials standing for his company name, October’s Very Own. It features a luxury lounge area with eye-catching golden walls, as well as a plush bedroom plus wraparound leather and crushed velvet couches in the cabin.
Media agency Yard included Drake among the most prolific private jet celebrity fliers in a 2022 study, highlighting three apparent flights under 20 minutes in six weeks. He responded by posting on Instagram: ‘This is just them moving planes to whatever airport they are being stored at for anyone who was interested in the logistics… nobody takes that flight.’ The rapper this week shared a photo from his private jet, hours after he became the number one trending topic on X after an alleged X-rated video was leaked online.
The married pop power couple are owners of a £40million Bombardier Challenger 850 Learjet – said to have been a present from him to her in 2012. It comprises a large bedroom, two bathrooms and a fully-stocked kitchen, will room on-board for up to seven passengers. Beyonce, 42, was seen just before Christmas getting on to the plane and bedding down still wearing her sparkly couture following a gig in the Brazilian city Salvador.
She shared a photo on Instagram showing how the jet was decked out with fresh sheets, two lamps and a small Christmas decoration on her bed’s headboard. Fellow pop star Lady Gaga, 37, owns a jet estimated as worth up to $80million – and has previously posed on-board wearing a scarf made from fake $100 bills.
Fury previously posted photos and footage of a different private jet he took for what he called a ‘little trip’ to Saudi capital Riyadh last December. His keenly-anticipated bout with Ukrainian rival Usyk, 37, had been scheduled to take place in Riyadh on February 17 but was postponed after Fury suffered a severe cut above his right eye while sparring last Friday.
The fight has now been rescheduled for May 18, after the injury which left Fury needing 15 stitches when caught by Agron Smakici’s elbow while training. The 19-seat plane, with an average speed of 850km per hour, offers plenty of legroom – with space for seven people to sleep ‘comfortably’, according to Airbus, with a private two-bed room available. It can carry 90 large suitcases and offers wi-fi internet connectivity with entertainment involving CDs, DVDs and iPads, while the crew comprises two pilots, two flight attendants and a flight support engineer.
Airbus’s website says of the private jet: ‘The corporate ACJ319 combines the most spacious cabin in its class with intercontinental performance. ‘It features a spacious lounge area with a dining table.
