The ongoing feud between Tucker Carlson and Fox News has intensified, as insiders close to Carlson have revealed to Axios that he is gearing up to pressure Fox News into allowing him to work for, or even create, a competing right-wing network.

This development comes on the heels of Fox News parting ways with Carlson 13 days prior, which subsequently led to a significant drop in viewership during his previous time slot. In an effort to keep him out of the limelight, Fox is said to be offering Carlson a staggering $20 million per year to remain unemployed.

Carlson’s legal representative, Bryan Freedman, shared with Axios that “the notion that anyone can muzzle Tucker and stop him from communicating with his audience is utterly absurd.” The ongoing strife between Carlson and Fox has the potential to dramatically alter the conservative news arena.
