Armie Hammer’s mother, Dru Hammer, claims she had to find it in her heart to “forgive” her ex-daughter-in-law Elizabeth Chambers — despite her son being the one to cheat on his ex-wife many times.
The “Hammered” author said on “The Outlier Podcast” Monday, “I had a call with Elizabeth, and I said, ‘Look, the divorce is over. As far as I’m concerned, bygones are bygones, and I love you, and I forgive you for anything that you might’ve done to hurt Armie because you were hurt.’”
She added to host Lauren Conlin, “‘I understand — I’ve been there — and I ask you to forgive me if I’ve ever done anything that’s hurt you.’”
Dru said she and Chambers — who was married to Armie for 10 years before several women accused him of cannibalistic fetishes and sexual misconduct — now have a “beautiful relationship
Chambers’ rep did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
However, a source denies to Page Six exclusively that the TV host has ever done anything to “harm or hurt” her ex-husband, echoing what he has said himself in recent interviews.
“I would say we’re very good co-parents,” Armie said on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” earlier this month.
“We’ve worked through a lot of stuff together. We are able to put our children first and foremost, and I would say that, in a big way, bygones are bygones.
