EXCLUSIVE: David Beckham is teased by wife Victoria for looking like the dancing man emoji after they dig out their iconic purple wedding outfits from storage for 25th wedding anniversary

Twenty-five years ago, their wedding outfits made quite the fashion statement. But now after the Beckhams dressed up in them once again, David has found himself being teased by his wife for looking like the modern-day dancing man emoji.

The couple took the designer outfits from storage a few weeks ago and tried them on to mark their 25th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.
The Mail can reveal how the couple came up with the idea over drinks one night and asked their team to dig it out of storage as a ‘gift to their loyal fans.’

One friend said: ‘Victoria is laughing her head off, she keeps saying it’s a good job that the emoji wasn’t around back in 1999. She is finding the whole thing absolutely hilarious.’ Meanwhile, David, 49, is also said to be ‘aghast’ at his purple suede shoes. They were the last part of the outfit which the Beckhams found, and the footballer was said to be ‘mortified’ when he saw them.

‘David was like “oh my God” when he saw them,’ said the pal. ‘Victoria’s shoes are so gorgeous but his are definitely one his fashion mistakes. ‘He was mortified when he saw them all of these years later.’ Dressing up and posing in their £12million Cotswolds home, the couple sat on thrones, were pictured walking around the gardens of their estate and shared videos of them getting dressed.

Victoria, 50, showed a video of David breathing in to squeeze into his trousers on Thursday morning, he excitedly said: ‘I’m in, I’m in!’ Then later in the video, the sound of material ripping can be heard as he continues to put on the rest of the suit.
