“The reverse side of the ring top displays the last play called, ‘Tom & Jerry,’ which occurred in overtime to win Super Bowl LVIII. The play is drawn out using Head Coach Andy Reid’s handwriting. For the Dolphins, already stinging from their first-round exit, this error adds a layer of frustration. Their playoff loss to the Chiefs was particularly tough, managing only seven points against Kansas City’s 26, led by Patrick Mahomes.

This misstep by the Chiefs could, however, serve as unexpected motivation for Miami in the 2024/25 season. Seeing themselves inaccurately ranked inside the Chiefs’ rings, which are embellished with 529 diamonds and 38 rubies, might fuel their resolve. Armed with talents like such as Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill, the Dolphins have the potential to rival teams like the Chiefs, who boast Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
