Kim Kardashian Throws Down The Gauntlet: Challenges Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for NFL Supercouple Title, Teases Potential Move to Kansas City Chiefs for Her New Man-Full story below;
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift became one of the most famous couples in the world as she attended numerous Kansas City Chiefs games, and Kim Kardashian could join her enemy in the stands.
Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift could come face-to-face as Odell Beckham Jr. hopes for a move to Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs for the 2024 NFL season. Last year, Beckham Jr. signed a one-year deal worth $15 million with the Baltimore Ravens. The three-time Pro Bowl receiver hadn’t played in the NFL since tearing his ACL in Super Bowl LVI, which caused him to miss the entire 2022 season before he landed in Baltimore.
The Ravens flocked to the AFC Championship Game before falling in a tight game to the Chiefs. Beckham Jr. had a slow year by his standards, hauling in 35 catches for 565 receiving yards and three touchdowns – but the Ravens have opted to cut ties and will release the receiver with a post-June 1 designation. Like last season, Beckham is reportedly looking for another lucrative deal despite his underwhelming performances in 2023. The 31-year-old is likely chasing a final payday before he retires, but teams are unlikely to meet his demands given his injury history, age, and form.
However, the Chiefs are certainly in the market for a receiving weapon this offseason, despite Patrick Mahomes leading the franchise to back-to-back Super Bowl triumphs. The Chiefs’ receiving corps struggled throughout last season before everything came together in the playoffs and, according to the Daily Mail, Beckham wants to join the Chiefs.
If Beckham lands with in Kansas City, it would mean Kardashian and Swift would be on the same side next season. Kardashian and Beckham have been rumored to be dating for some time, and the pair attended Chateau Marmont for Jay-Z and Beyonce’s Oscars afterparty last week.
Swift became something of a permanent fixture in suites at Arrowhead Stadium last season as she cheered on Kelce. It remains to be seen if Kardashian would attend games in the same manner, but if she does support Beckham she’ll likely face an awkward reunion with Swift after a long-running history between the pair.
Even if Kardashian did show up to Arrowhead, she would likely not sit alongside Swift and fellow Chiefs WAGs Brittany Mahomes and Lindsey Bell. The pair share a bitter history which began in 2016 when Kardashian’s ex-husband rapper Kanye West – who also famously disrupted Swift’s 2009 Grammy win – released his track ‘Famous’ which included a vulgar reference to the popstar in the lyrics. Swift condemned the line, while West claimed he had a phone conversation with her in which she consented to the lyric. Kardashian then released a partial recording of the call but Swift insisted she was never aware West would refer to her as a ‘b****’.
Back in December, Swift addressed the incident during her interview with TIME after she was named Person of the Year. When discussing the release of the recorded conversation, Swift declared: “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar. “That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls.”
