Royal Family in crisis: King Charles III losing control amidst cancer battle and where is his absentee wife?

The King of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth received a diagnosis in January.

In the wake of King Charles III’s battle against cancer and Kate Middleton’s recovery from surgery, where is Queen Camilla disappeared to? At a glance, it’s terrible optics really. The Queen, who ascended in 2022, has jetted off on vacation to the Mediterranean leaving Princess Anne to pick up the pieces whilst Prince William has had to step back into the fold as she enjoys a G&T on the sand.

Middleton has been out of action since January, alongside her father-in-law, as both of them underwent planned medical procedures and have thus needed time to recover, with Middleton’s absence being of particular concern to fans of the family around the globe. So that leaves three of the four most senior Royals out of action and it’s not even as though they can turn to Prince Harry either as he enjoys his life in Santa Monica with Meghan Markle in the United States of America.

With the family still adapting to life without Queen Elizabeth II, who served as the matriarch for over 70 years, is it all starting to come down in the wake of recent health crisis?  So just where is Queen Camilla? The wife of King Charles III has seemingly disappeared in the middle of her husband’s battle against cancer but fear not, she is actually on approved leave after working tirelessly to maintain the image of the family.

In the wake of Prince William’s decision to focus on helping his wife, Kate Middleton, recover from undisclosed abdominal surgery and King Charles III’s withdrawal from the public eye as he undergoes cancer treatment, the 76-year-old jetted off for some sun by the sea. That’s because she picked up all of their extra duties and was left feeling “exhausted” after dedicating herself to her marital family, which even included spending Valentine’s Day alone as she attended an event at Grosvenor House.
